This role is initially offered as a contract position, with the potential for extension based on the company's needs. The primary responsibility will be driving walkies for order picking, although some days may require manual unloading of trucks.
Responsibilities
* Participate in safety training and orientation during the first week, with 4-8 hours dedicated on the first day.
* Engage in walkie training following orientation.
* Perform order picking using walkies.
* Manually unload trucks as needed.
* Utilize RF scanners for inventory management.

Essential Skills
* Experience in order picking.
* Proficiency in using forklifts, especially walkies.
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
* Basic English language skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
* Prior experience in the medical or healthcare industry.
* Familiarity with RF scanners.

Work Environment

Experience a fast-paced and diverse workplace in a large distribution facility. The environment is clean, well-lit, and includes a spacious lunchroom. Safety is a top priority, with steel-toed shoes required and vests provided. Work in Mississauga on Meyerside Drive with afternoon shifts from 2:45 PM to 11:00 PM. Enjoy a 30-minute unpaid lunch and a paid 15-minute break, with the option to leave 15 minutes earlier instead of taking a second break.
