Must start 4/10/17 through 6/9/17, must be badged recently at Nuclear plant.
Pipe Stress Engineer – Engineer qualified to perform Engineering evaluations, calculations and design verifications.
· All outage on assigned systems scope identification outside program related scope to support meeting the ‘Engineering Scope Identification’ milestone, and to provide appropriate input to scope decisions during the challenge process.
· Evaluating system/component conditions or deficiencies that can impact system operation or return to service and notifying Operations or outage management as appropriate.
· Providing technical support in the preparation and execution of complex work packages, as required.
· Providing technical support for troubleshooting activities by either providing technical support in the form of reviewing troubleshooting plans or by acting as the technical lead for troubleshooting and/or development of an action plan for resolving the problem.
·· Complete required work to clear Engineering holds per the established outage milestone schedule. (EN-FAP-OU-100)
Calculations and Analysis
Prepare and verify appropriate calculations and analyses to support design changes.
Identify margins for operation in calculations and communicate these to station operating personnel. (Ref. EN-DC-195) Document calculations such that they can be easily reviewed for completeness during verification and revision.
