I. Design Change Packages (DCP) Development and Input.
A. Review “posted” DCP packages.
B. Review “preliminary DCP package” in preparation for DCP meetings and walkdowns.
C. Participate in DCP meetings and walkdowns and provide constructability input for incorporation into design development.
II. DCP Review, Planning & Implementation.
A. Coordinate/participate in planning meetings to identify support, resources and equipment needs for the DCP implementation period.
B. Review drawings and related DCP documents to identify potential impacts and discrepancies.
C. Develop and coordinate implementation plans (e.g., on & offsite support as required, availability of special tools, equipment and vendor support).
D. Prepare cost estimates as needed.
E. Prepare and/or provide input (scope details) for fragnet development. Provide input for P3 (refueling outage) schedules)
F. Assist Operations, as needed, in the preparation of tagouts.
G. Resolve design related problems with the responsible Design Office.
A. Review DCP Material Lists and update as required.
B. Provide material take-off as needed for DCP field routed items.
C. Generate MSRs for any omitted DCP material or vendor services required.
D. Create JMLs or MSRs as needed for DCPs & DCPTs (DCP “grocery list”).
E. Track and Status ordered DCP material.
F. Monitor warehouse receipt of DCP equipment & materials.
G. Assist warehouse personnel with receipt inspection as needed.
H. Assist warehouse in resolving receipt discrepancies (with DCP material) as needed.
I. Ensure noted discrepancies are resolved in a manner such that parts are available to support DCP implementation.
J. Provide JML support (pick parts) as required during DCP implementation.
K. Prepare Stock Material Returns as needed for all DCP material not used.
IV. Generate Work Orders
A. Develop routes for field routed tubing, conduit and supports.
B. Prepare scaffold & insulation requests and pen seal removals, as needed, to support DCP implementation.
C. Generate JMLs for affected Work Orders (DCPIs).
D. Review final (“posted”) design package, verify final scope and that any previously identified discrepancies have been resolved.
E. Develop and provide detailed written instructions (to include drawings, PDMS cards, procedures, special processes forms, etc.) for DCP implementation.
F. Provide labeling and tagging materials as required.
G. Ensure specialty tools and equipment are available to support work activities.
H. Generate or assist in the generation of Supplemental Personnel Request (SPR) to support planned activities.
I. Perform “contract administration” duties as appropriate.
J. Prepare Risk Assessment Worksheets
K. Prepare Lifting & Rigging Worksheets
V. Implementation Oversight and Problem Solving
A. Provide field oversight during DCP implementation
B. Ensure timely resolution of field implementation problems (as necessary, revised work instructions, generate and process FCRs, CRs etc.).
C. Verify proper installations by performing walkdowns and inspections.
VI. Functional Testing
A. Coordinate support necessary for DCP Functional Tests as needed.
B. Assist, as required, with tagout coordination to facilitate Functional Testing activities.
VII. Work Order Review and Closure
Review completed Work Order steps, PDMS card and procedure data sheets for adequacy.
A. Support other departments and the Design Offices as needed in areas of expertise.
B. Coordinate/or provide assistance for In-Processing (“badging in”) of vendors needed to support DCP implementation for Eng-Mods.
