We are seeking an experienced Creo Designer contractor/temp to support the execution of biological and aeration projects.
The Designer is responsible for designing and modifying aeration and biological treatment equipment for the Sanitaire product line in accordance with established company specifications and industry standards.
Uses Creo Parametric 3.0 or later software to perform applicable Mechanical component design, layout and detail drawing work.
Ability to interpret civil engineers drawing packages to determine the best design parameters.
Works on projects under the supervision of the Mechanical Design Supervisor and Technical Project Managers.
Work closely with Engineering and other departments to analyze projects for manufacturability.
Check component and assembly drawings of other department personnel as needed.
Conduct necessary investigations relative to designs based on internal and customer requirements.
Ability to work overtime as needed to meet project deadlines.
Participate in the training of future design department employees as needed.
Associates Degree in Mechanical Design or equivalent
Minimum of two years experience as a Mechanical Designer
Hands-on mechanical aptitude
Intermediate MS Word and Excel
ProEngineer Creo Parametric 3.0 or later is strongly desired
A working knowledge of AutoCAD 2012 or later is preferred
WindChill 10.1 or later is preferred
Proficient written and verbal communication
Ability to work in a customer focused, fast paced environment Work Environment: Office: Standard office equipment; work usually performed in an office setting free from any disagreeable elements.
