One of our prestigious electric utility clients, has an urgent need for an Electrical Engineer. This is a permanent, in-house position with a highly respected utility that offers an excellent work environment and work life balance. This utility is located on the east coast featuring a high quality lifestyle including fishing, hiking, boating and other outdoor activities! This location is just minutes from a variety of metropolitan areas accompanied by big city amenities and an international airport making for easy travel. Our client is offering an excellent compensation.
You will provide technical expertise in the identification, investigation, and resolution of plant operating, safety, and design issues to ensure plant reliability and availability. You will provide monitor, trend and assess systems and components to improve reliability. You will establish system performance for designated systems. You will identify and prioritize corrective actions to ensure system, safety, reliability, and availability. You will provide lead cross-functional teams to manage/resolve system performance issues and perform system walk downs. You will ensure system readiness and compliance with design/ license basis.
The qualified candidate for Electrical Engineer MUST have:
• Three (5) plus years of Nuclear Power Plant Electrical Engineering expertise
• BS Degree in Electrical Engineering or MS in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering highly desired
• Excellent references
• Strong communications skills both verbal and written
• Candidates local to the Mid-Atlantic region or those with a desire to relocation to this region, PERFERRED.
