Job Duties:


Develop estimates that will be utilized to make proposal and equitable adjustment request submittal per Federal Acquisition Requirement (FAR). Participate in the development of assigned estimates, and the conduct of estimate reviews. Provide factual, verifiable supporting documentation for estimated work. Develop estimate plans, identify FAR based pricing sources, write basis of estimate statements, and utilize provided checklists review forms to identify and remedy estimate internal review deviations. Support the Project Control Lead / Subject Matter Expert, estimate team to assimilate information into a successful Change Proposal / Request for Equitable Adjustment submittal. May be assigned to specific Project(s). Perform duties in accordance with CHPRC estimating procedure and guide.
The candidate must be proactive in contacting and providing follow up with internal clients and persuasive and persistent in communications; have the ability to prioritize work and to develop and maintain positive working relationships with CHPRC team members at all levels. The position requires discretion and independent judgment with respect to the selection and use of procurement sensitive and official use only information in estimates and proposals.

Support the Project Control Lead / Subject Matter Expert estimate review team to assimilate to a successful Change Proposal / Request for Equitable Adjustment submittal.
Required Qualifications:


BA/BS or equivalent combination of education and experience in estimating, and a minimum of 15 years related experience. (CHPRC accepts 8 years of directly related experience as equivalent to a BA/BS degree) If stating an equivalency, vendor must demonstrate that candidate has a HS diploma or GED


Must be proficient with Microsoft desktop software, specifically with Excel


Experience in cost estimating with recent (within the past 2 years) cost estimating experience, hands-on estimating experience for FAR based contract change proposals and or requests for equitable adjustment

Previous experience on the Hanford Site or within the DOE complex.

Experience with Sage/Timberline software or similar cost estimating software
