Job Description
The position will be based in New Mexico.

Position Overview:

• Interprets specifications and/or contractual requirements and converts the criteria into detailed written procedures.
• Researches DOE orders, regulations and standards to identify mandatory requirements.
• Performs quality oversight (including NQA-1 application) such as fabrication and field assessments for vendor facilities in addition to reviews of technical documents such as subcontracts and proposals.
• Analyzes quality assurance data and makes recommendations for improvement.
• Performs work for specialized focus groups (DOE/NNSA).
• Responsible for maintaining a thorough and advanced knowledge of applicable quality requirements.
• Will perform oversight related to site infrastructure activities and capital assets projects such as permanent ventilation systems.
• Demonstrates experience working in cooperative efforts with other entities to effect successful completion of job assignments.
• Evaluates processes and/or products to determine if requirements have been appropriately applied and take corrective action if necessary.
• Develops solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation. Ensures solutions are consistent with organization objectives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelors’ degree in a technical and/or business-related discipline and at least 13 years of relevant experience.
• Prior experience related to the Department of Energy (DOE).
• Ability to obtain and maintain DOE Security Clearance.
