Skills
Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in Engineering or related science or equivalent

Professional Certifications
Holds or have-held a Reactor Operator (RO)/ Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) license on a LWPWR Nuclear Plant

Experience
5 years’ experience LWPWR Nuclear Power Plant with a combination of any the following:
- At least 4 years of work at a position that required advanced print reading skills (electrical, mechanical, P&ID, logic and control) to be able to accurately understand plant drawings so as to verify and validate procedure information based on design and construction drawings.
- Clearance Tagging and eSOMS experience
- 5 years at a position that required Procedure Writing or Operations Procedure

Job Description
To perform activities within the Operations Support team to ensure Nuclear Safety, Industrial Safety, compliance with local Abu Dhabi regulations, and support Barakah values while:
• Preparing and monitor annual budget items, working with the procurement department to initiate Procurement Requests, perform bidder technical evaluations, receive Goods and complete Good Receipt Notices (GRNs).
• To review, comment, and update Technical documents such as Operation Procedures, Final Safety Analysis Report (FSAR), Technical Specifications (Tech Specs), and Vendor design documents.
• To perform peer reviews and updates to internal P6 schedules to track Operational Readiness.

Support Operation Team
• Support the revision of Operations Procedures.
• Support in the development of Operating License documents.
• Assist in preparing for World Association for Nuclear Operators (WANO) pre-start up peer reviews.
• Assist in preparing for International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) pre-start up peer reviews.
• Provide support for budget, procurement and staffing for Site Operations team.
• Perform technical administrative activities as assigned.
• Perform ordinary Operations support activities.
• Support OSSA oversight for Operations including mid and long term OSSA Plan.
• Operations support for Plant Information (PI) System.
• All tasks are to be performed with high quality standards and in a timely manner to achieve a high level of operation support of the plant.

Budget
• Provide input to the section/ department budget, and monitor financial performance versus the budget to ensure alignment.

Teamwork
• Adapt to changing workload and types of tasks assigned due to the changing role that procedure reviewers will have from the start of the project until the review is complete.
• Assist with the effective achievement of the organization’s objectives by meeting personal targets as assigned.
• Participate in assessments to assist in the continuous improvement of department performance.

Stakeholder Engagement
• Facilitate communication both internally and externally in order to build and nurture mutually beneficial working relationships.
