INDUSTRIAL HYGIENIST AND TECHNICIANS

Industrial Hygienist and Technicians are multi-task technicians that are fully qualified as either an IH Technician an Industrial Safety Technician or concurrently in both positions.
Under general direction from FRNP HSS&Q Management, the Seller’s professionals and technicians shall provide the following support to the FRNP:
Position Overview for IH Technician positions:

Participates in monitoring the company's health standards in accordance with applicable laws and regulations; evaluates and interprets current regulations and assists in compliance
Performs assigned tasks according to detailed instructions and established policies and procedures
Assists in processing basic industrial hygiene analyses
Performs routine calculations according to specific guidelines and formulas
Maintains data in various data capture systems
Assists in generating reports, charts and spreadsheets as needed
Provides administrative and/or functional support to the Industrial Hygiene team
Perform duties of general/routine complexity in nature
Other job related duties as assigned
Maintains knowledge of and demonstrates ability to perform work safely in accordance with all approved safety policies, procedures and applicable regulations and performs assigned duties in a safe manner
Actively participates in Safety Work Groups
Position Overview for Industrial Hygienist I – III and senior positions:

Participates in monitoring the company's health standards in accordance with applicable laws and regulations; evaluates and interprets current regulations and assists in compliance
Makes recommendations for changes in the work environment based on interpretations and principles of professional I/H practices
Very proficient in all standard Industrial Hygiene tasks
May provide leadership to less experienced industrial hygienists and technicians
May act as lead person or technical expert on small to medium projects
May be assigned special projects
Independently determines and develops approaches and solutions to problems
Assists others in developing and implementing programs for monitoring and preventing chemical, physical and biological hazards in project work areas
Maintains data in various data capture systems
Assists in generating reports, charts and spreadsheets as needed
Provides technical, administrative and/or functional support to the Industrial Hygiene team
Perform duties general/routine to moderately complex in nature
Other job related duties as assigned
Maintains knowledge of and demonstrates ability to perform work safely in accordance with all approved safety policies, procedures and applicable regulations and performs assigned duties in a safe manner
Actively participates in Safety Work Groups

For Industrial Hygienist II the minimum requirements are as followed:

BA/BS degree in a related field and 3 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Typical experience ranges from 3 - 6 years
For Industrial Hygienist III the minimum requirements are as followed:

BA/BS degree in a related field and 5 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Typical experience ranges from 5 - 8 years
