One of our clients is a commercial nuclear power plant that has an urgent need for an Electrical Systems Engineer. This permanent position is located in a low cost of living area that is family oriented with great schools, low crime, and is an outdoorsman’s paradise! In the position of Electrical Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing procedures, specifications, and engineering methodology for electrical engineering projects at this nuclear plant. You will ensure that the preparation of work packages for modification projects of plant systems will follow strict adherence to industry standards and nuclear regulatory guidelines. Duties will also include monitoring project activities, analyzing trends, tracking costs related to budget guidelines, and communicating improvements to station management.
The qualified candidate for Electrical Systems Engineer MUST have:
*Five (5) years of Electrical Engineering experience in the Nuclear Power or Electric Utility industry.
*BS Degree in Electrical Engineering.
*Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
*Excellent professional references.
