Resumes to Engineered Resources by 1/17/18

Provide design engineering staff augmentation support to SRNS. Primary responsibilities include:
Engineering analysis
Construction support
Design development and generation of design output documents including but not limited to:
o Single Line Drawings
o Electrical Equipment Lists
o Control System Design
o Control Schematics and Connection Drawings
o Electrical Equipment Specifications
o Bulk Material Specifications
o Circuit/Raceway/Wiring/Connection Design
o Grounding
o Heat Tracing
o Fire Detection
o Short Circuit Calculations
o Arc Flash Incident Energy Analysis
o Load Flow Analysis
o Electrical System Sizing Calculations

Engineering services shall be provided using SRNS processes and procedures. Programmatic guidance will be provided by SRNS.

40 hour work week schedule. SRNS utilizes various work schedules; 5/8s (8 hours/day; five days per week, Monday through Friday), 4/10s (10 hours/day; four days per week Monday through Thursday or Tuesday through Friday), 9/80s (9 hours/day, 5 days on week A and 4 days on week B). Work week excludes SRNS Holidays. Each work day has a 30- minute lunch break.

Must be an US Citizen. The ability to obtain and maintain a DOE L Security Clearance. An active DOE clearance is not initially required to perform assigned duties. After award, the selected candidate, assumed to be uncleared, will be given the opportunity to apply for a DOE Clearance.

BS Degree in Electrical Engineering or current registration as a Professional Engineer in Electrical Engineering.

In addition to education, the following are required skills, knowledge and/or qualifications:
Ten years of design experience in the nuclear or chemical process industry.
Experience with 2D MicroStation CADD.
Experience using software (preferably ETAP) to general electrical system calculations.
Ability to walkdown systems in the field.
Working knowledge of NEC requirements.
Working knowledge of IES.
Working knowledge of NFPA requirements.
Working knowledge of IEEE requirements.
Working knowledge of OSHA requirements.
Previous SRS Design Engineering experience (preferred).
