One of our clients, a prestigious multi-billion dollar global company has an urgent need for a Senior Protection and Control Engineer. This is a permanent “in-house” position with a company that is ranked in the top ten (10) Transmission, Distribution and Power Firms in the USA! This opportunity is located in a rural, low cost-of-living area, but still close to the amenities of a large city with a major airport, making for easy travel. As a Senior Protection and Control Engineer you will join a dynamic team of Engineers, Designers and Project Managers and work on challenging Transmission, Substation and Distribution type Grid Projects. You will perform a wide variety of functions including engineering calculations, design, analysis, and planning. You will become a subject matter expert and mentor junior personnel regarding advanced protection and control concepts and schemes. The qualified candidate for Senior Protection and Control Engineer MUST have:

* Three (3)+ years engineering experience related to Protection & Control and/or Relaying for Transmission, Substations and/or Distribution of Electric Power.
* Experience working in an Engineering Group or Projects Group for Electric Power and/or T&D type projects.
* BS Degree in Electrical Engineering.
* Knowledge and experience with applicable industry codes and standards (IEEE, NESC etc.).
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Excellent references.
