Mechanical/Civil Project Superintendent

Contract / Temp to Direct / Direct Hire: Contract

Coordinate and provide oversight for implementation activities associated with managed tasks and modified managed tasks.

1. Responsible for performing work in accordance with the Company’s Code of Ethics and Standards of Business Conduct.
2. Ensure that all work activities are properly planned, reviewed, and that effective look-ahead, package reviews, and work status is completed.
3. Interface with the Implementation Manager, Project Manager, Construction Manager, and craft supervisors.
4. Support the organization to meet site programmatic requirements such as PIP, self-assessments, job observations, training, etc.

• Effective communication skills.
• Able to multi-task and meet strict deadlines.
• Ability to work effectively in a project team environment.
• Basic knowledge of the WOTA and Work Management process.
• Able to obtain and maintain clearance for unescorted access.
• Mechanical discipline -Experience in implementation of mechanical, piping, welding and structural / civil modifications in an operating nuclear station.
• Civil discipline-experience in execution and oversight of scaffolding, insulation and coating activities.

• Previous experience in supervising and managing large construction / maintenance implementation activities.
• Experience in providing oversight for managed task contractors on large construction projects
• Experience in providing oversight for craft supervisors and technicians
• Minimum 12 years experience in project implementation
