Ensure the training is delivered in a concise manner and that each participant has ample opportunity to learn and practice skills gained in training
Use feedback and testing mechanisms developed by the training staff to evaluate the program and the abilities of the participants to learn and apply the skills and knowledge presented in the program
Achieve and maintain SME level of knowledge and skill in their specified discipline
Act as course owners and SMEs to communicate closely with operators
Conduct training in accordance with the monthly training schedule through the proposed period of performance
Compile completed course documentation (i.e. rosters, examinations, etc.,) for delivery to the Training Coordinators
Provide other training support activities as assigned by the Training Manager
Must be a US or naturalized citizen able to obtain and maintain BGCAPP site access
Must be computer literate in common software applications and able to operate general office equipment
Proven presentation and public speaking skills and experience.
Ability to apply a variety of learning concepts and principles directed towards adults.
Education: 2 Year Associates Degree or Equivalent
Experience: 4 years
Technical experience and expertise in plant operations
Military and/or chemical demilitarization experience
Navy, commercial, or DOE nuclear operations experience
Refinery or chemical plant experience
Process industry experience
Control room operator experience
Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Classroom instructor skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills
Able to multi-task and prioritize
Effective problem solver.
