Contract / Temp to Direct / Direct Hire: Contract
The piping design engineer will be provide engineering design for process piping and utility piping systems in support of nuclear and non-nuclear projects at Y-12 in Oak Ridge, TN. Responsible for preparation of conceptual engineering deliverables such as cost-estimating bills of material, man-hour estimates, and Title II engineering deliverables including preparation of calculations (equipment, valve and pipe sizing) and analyses, construction specifications & drawings, and equipment specifications and data sheets. Piping design engineer will design systems such as potable water and fire-protection supply systems, gases, acid and caustic fluids, brines, cryogenics, steam and condensate, hot and chilled water systems, chillers, boilers, cooling towers, and vacuum systems. The rate is based on you experience. Q clearance is preferred.
