Weirich Consulting is seeking a Construction Electrical Field Engineer

Assignment: possible 9 months or longer

3 or 4 Is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day construction electrical activities on the MOX
Project. The Individual in this role ensures adherence to design basis and Quality requirements for all assigned electrical and electrical
support installation work.
Support for these activities Include:
• Review or Work Packages In planning, working, and closure; assist In Work Package closure
, Update Work Packages and/or create additional steps for appropriate changes
• Initiating. Reviewing, Implementing, Field Change Requests,
Nonconformance Reports. Conditioned Reports, and other technical documentation
• Acquiring and maintaining as-built Information for Installation
• Performing field walk-downs and Inspections to review work for conformance with design requirements, codes/standards and
project procedures
• Updating schedulers/project control of work completed
• Supports Electrical Supervisor and Superintendent by Implementing Inspection and testing activities
• Request material transfers and/or material verification from warehouses
• General coordination with multiple groups across Jobsite (craft, design, ac, subcontractors, etc.)
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, and other documents
• Observes and ensures construction practices as required for compliances of construction operations/execution with federal, state, and local
codes, Industry standards. company procedures, and contractual requirements
'Achieve successful completion of assigned work on lime
• Champion that commitment to safety, security, environmental. and quality priorities and values throughout the MOX Project
• Execute the required duties and technical direction
• Review/ assigned drawings for construction
• Provide clarification of drawings, specifications, and other technical documents as necessary to support Construction
• Coordinating Inspection and testing activities
• Reviews the project schedule and works with" the applicable Supervisor and Superintendent, and supports work< Implementation required
• Serve as B resource for training colleagues with less experience
• Serve as a resource and direct supervisor for training/mentoring colleague with less experience
, Provide Construction Engineering. Support to 1 Superintendents and resolve issues related to Construction Engineering
• Revise and review revisions to project procedures as needed

Required Qualifications (Include experience and education requirements):

High School Diploma or GED with elven (11) years' experience in design, fabrication, installation, or Inspection In a related construction discipline
Associates Degree in Construction management, Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related discipline or course work toward program with nine
(9) years in design fabrication

Bachelor Degree in Construction management. Or equivalent

To quality as a CFE4 (Construction Tech SVs III):
High School Diploma or GED with 13} years' experience In design, fabrication. Installation,

Bachelor’s Degree in Construction management, Engineering, Engineering technology, or related discipline or course work toward program with seven (7) year' experience in design, fabrication, installation, or Installation In a related construction discipline

Desired Qualifications :
• Capable of Using programs such as AutoCAD or MicroStation, Smart Plant, and/or Support Modeler
• Prior Nuclear experience
• Extensive knowledge of the Electrical Construction process
• Working knowledge of other discipline scopes, roles, and responsibilities
• Working knowledge of OSHA and other Construction related rules and regulations
Strong math aptitude, analytical, and problem solving skills
• Experience in Construction Management, Project Management, end/or supervision
• Ability to foster a laadel1!hip environment that encourages performance, growth, and satisfaction for employees
• Organization and delegation capabilities
• Capable of using basic Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, etc.)

• Contributes to achievement of team goals; promotes teamwork
• Working knowledge of the Electrical Construction process

• Effective communication and Interpersonal skills -both written and verbal
• Ability to read and interpret schematic design drawings

• Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and appropriate IEEE Standards
