DESCRIPTION OF WORK – SPECIFIC
This position serves as an Interim MC for HFD Support Services Division. The duties include researching, recommending, planning, and assisting the HFD Buyer Technical Representatives (BTR) and Cost Account Manager (CAM) in the purchasing of materials, equipment and services.
This position requires the interim MC to coordinate logistics support functions including (but not limited to) the following:
• Excessing of materials/equipment support
• Assisting in office moves
• Assist in tracking and receiving material and equipment shipments
• HFD property management and tracking
• Updating Omni lock access for incoming and outgoing employees
• Assists on rehabilitation support for wildland fires
Subcontractor shall ensure that its personnel meet and maintain the appropriate training, qualifications, and certification requirements as applicable.
Associates Degree (AA&S) and 2 years related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability for writing concisely and clearly are required. 
Position requires technical writing experience, creative problem solving skills, ability to adapt to constantly changing priorities, handling multiple job tasks concurrently, and communicating with all levels of workers and management, both internal and external.
Desired Qualifications: 
Prior work experience in property asset tracking, excessing materials, barcode and inventory management systems. 
Knowledge of Fire Department/Emergency Services concepts, Department of Energy (DOE) directives, and contractor policies and procedures as they relate to the Hanford Site.
