Contract / Temp to Direct / Direct Hire: Direct Hire
One of our clients, a commercial nuclear power plant, has an urgent need for multiple SRO Operations Training Instructors. These are permanent in-house positions. This utility is in an area with low crime, excellent schools and in a close proximity to a major metropolitan city. The company offers a very lucrative compensation package (base salary, performance bonus, SRO Certification bonus, etc.) with the ability to W2 in the $135,000 - $150,000 range! Excellent benefits (including both a pension and 401k plan) and a full relocation package is available for the qualified candidate!
As an SRO Operations Training Instructor you will utilize the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) process to analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate both initial and requalification training for Licensed and Non-Licensed Operators. You will conduct training in the classroom, simulator and on-the-job environments. You will work closely with the line organization to help resolve emerging training/performance needs.
The qualified candidate for SRO Operations Training Instructor MUST have:
* Three (3)+ years experience as an Operations Training Instructor in nuclear
Power -OR- Control Room Supervisor or Reactor Operator who wants to be an Instructor.
* Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) License or Certification (PWR).
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and instructor skills.
* Strong references.
