Edgewater Technical Associates LLC is seeking qualified candidates for a Software Developer–Engineering Process Applications opportunity for our customer in Aiken, SC.

Duration – 1 year with the option to extend for 1 additional year

Clearance required – No

US citizenship required – Yes

Exempt or Non-Exempt – Exempt

Closing date – 05/23/2018

DUTIES:
Develop software programs that comply with site requirements and design specifications. Interface with support groups to develop web-based applications. Modify existing applications to integrate with other databases and applications. Implement and maintain internally developed web applications with a specific emphasis on usability, performance, and scalability. Utilize strong communication skills in a team environment to solicit and understand requirements from support groups. Review and understand customer requirements and specifications. Present applications and designs to the development group for review and input. Review and understand customer requirements and specifications. Work with technical personal to define production test plans. Estimate the effort required for software development activities. Create documents for technical approaches, requirements specifications, system designs, and software testing.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
BS Degree in Computer Science with minimum of 2 years related experience Associate’s Degree with minimum of 4 years’ practical experience
High School Diploma with minimum of 8 years’ practical experience

Experience/Skills:
Experience in the design, coding, and deployment of complex applications using .NET, C#, VB.NET, and SQL; Strong Web-based Application Development using ASP.NET, MVC, JavaScript, AJAX, WCF, and Winforms; Thorough understanding of network, application, and data security best practices; Ability to troubleshoot a web-based application; Experience with systems documentation and architecture diagrams; Solid problem solving skills; Ability to communicate in a clear and professional manner, including the ability to explain technical details to a non-technical person.

Work Hours:
A 40-hour work week is scheduled. SRS utilizes various work schedules, including 5/8s (8 hours/day, 5 days per week), 4/10s (10 hours/day, 4 days per week), and 9/80s (9 hours/day, 5 days on week A and 4 days on week B). Work week excludes SRR holidays. Each work day has a 30-minute lunch.
