Construction Coordinator

Duties:
• Coordination of assigned field work including construction, mockup and craft oversight and supervision.
• For subcontracted work, the construction coordinator may serve as the assigned subcontract technical representative.
• Ensuring field work activities are performed in accordance with the written work plan, and implementation of Environmental, Safety and Health requirements.
• Perform daily Prejob Briefings ensuring hazards are identified and mitigated.
• Has responsibility and authority for the successful completion of the construction scope in accordance with company and customer requirements.
• Responsible for implementation of work control, Subject Matter Expert, support organization and vendor coordination.
• Will keep in contact with and report daily and weekly status to Construction Manager.
• Responsible to provide daily direction to diverse work groups that will include union craft.
• Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
• May be required to support multiple projects or field work activities
• Responsible to provide field work feedback and lessons learned upon completion of tasks
• Interfaces include Project and Construction Management, Operations Supervision, Maintenance, ES&H, Engineering, QA, Planning, vendors, etc

Qualifications and Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science degree in Project or Construction Management or Engineering field or equivalent job related experience
• Minimum of 5 years job related experience and at least three year experience working at a nuclear facility
• Minimum of 1 years of subcontractor management experience’

Period of performance: 06.18.2018 through 11.30.2018

Work location: ICP Site Facility (CPP-1696)

Work Schedule: 4x14s sliding shift, days or nights
