ENERCON Services Inc., doing business for the Federal Government through our wholly owned subsidiary, ENERCON Federal Services, Inc. (EFS), provides engineering and environmental services to many branches of the Federal Government. With extensive experience in engineering design, nuclear safety, decommissioning and environmental services, we are actively supporting large and small projects throughout the DOE complex. EFS also has current experience supporting operations and decommissioning efforts at US Army Corps of Engineers and National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) facilities.
ENERCON Federal Services has four (4) openings for a Facility Manager in our Oak Ridge, TN office.
Seeking candidates with heavy experience in a high consequence Conduct-of-Operations type environment, such as Hazard Category 2 Nuclear Facilities and Radiological Facilities, or high hazard Chemical Facilities.
Prior experience as a Facility Manager or Shift Manager is a must.
Candidate must be a self-starter, as the candidate will be responsible for his/herself-directed training & qualification as a Facility Manager.
Candidate must be able to demonstrate a work history that includes leadership roles.
Level Specific Responsibilities:
FM for multiple complex nuclear and/or radiological facilities.
Maintain a formal project or facility logbook for assigned facilities categorized as nuclear and/or radiological.
Ensure the logbook is available for the Backup or Assistant FM(s) to make entries and for review, as required.
Establish a master schedule to identify when surveillance, testing, and inspection actions are required for TSR SSCs and credited Design Features, and the current status of each required inspection/action (Nuclear).
Review and concur with all alternate methods utilized for tracking of surveillance, testing, and inspection actions (Nuclear).
Review Work Packages, Work Plans, and associated revisions prior to approving work start.
Ensure that a process (or processes) are established and maintained for planning, scheduling, tracking and statusing all surveillance, testing, and inspection activities required by the facility TSR for safety significant SSCs (Active Safety Systems) and credited design features (Design Features).
Ensure the Active Safety System Surveillance/Testing and Design Feature Inspection process(es) are formally defined in project procedure(s).
Maintain facility status and provide oversight of all authorized activities.
Establish facility access controls.
Prepare and/or support preparation of facility safety basis documentation.
• BS in Engineering or related science or equivalent
• Four (4) years of equivalent professional experience
• DOE "L" clearance or ability to obtain a DOE "L" clearance
• Applicant must pass pre-employment drug/ alcohol and background check
