Job Duties:


Serve as Construction Material Control Specialist by performing construction material purchasing duties to support Project Technical Services construction projects.

Develop, process, and track Construction Material associated with construction contracts documents (Submittal, RCIs, RFIs, Redlines, etc.). Monitor the distribution of material for reconciliation of purposes. .

Support Davis-Bacon Determined work in construction by performing the following activities: material take-offs, material management, design control, configuration management compliance, submittals, RCI's/RFIs, equipment management and craft support. Coordinates problem resolution and liaison between construction and project departments to meet schedules and budget constraints. Project Coordinator and Project Management.

Assist Construction Managers with facilitate daily resolution of construction field issues and activities between construction support, technical authorities and design engineering required to support the projects. Serve as a Liaison to coordinate construction completion activities. Monitor of material delivery dates to meet project schedules.

Required Qualifications:

BA/BS in Construction Management or similar field, or an equivalent combination of related education and experience, plus a minimum of 1 year related work experience. Current, within the last 12 months, Purchase Card (P-Card) holder with a DOE prime contractor. Experience in Document Management Control System work flows. Previous experience with a procurement management system (i.e. Asset Suite). Previous experience with Statement of Works (SOWS).
