POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
BHI Energy is s currently seeking an Engineering Manager to provide leadership and technical direction through solid engineering practice and direction to the welding business. Directly responsible for the development of new equipment, modifications to existing welding equipment and configuration management of such. Work with all levels of the company, including project managers, shop personnel, and Field personnel to deliver necessary product. Customer interface is required on occasion.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Specific Responsibilities:
1. Technical lead to all welding equipment and accessories.
2. Perform equipment design and modifications as needed on all fleet equipment.
3. Closely work with commercial project managers to develop needed engineering estimates for quotations.
4. Operate within budgetary constraints and capital allotments to achieve needed goals.
5. Work closely with shop personnel, PM's and electronics technicians to deliver any end products.
6. Actively seek continuous improvement opportunities in project deliveries and document Lessons Learned.
7. Attend Customer meetings as necessary.
