ENERCON Services Inc., doing business for the Federal Government through our wholly owned subsidiary, ENERCON Federal Services (EFS), provides engineering and environmental services to many branches of the Federal Government. With extensive experience in engineering design, nuclear safety, decommissioning and environmental services, we are actively supporting large and small projects throughout the DOE complex. EFS also has current experience supporting operations and decommissioning efforts at US Army Corps of Engineers and National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) facilities.

We are currently recruiting for a Structural Engineer to represent ENERCON at a customer site in Oak Ridge, TN at Y-12 site.AN ACTIVE Q CLEARANCE IS PREFERRED.

In this role, your Key Responsibilities will be to:

This assignment will be for an experienced structural engineer. Duties will include providing calculations and design drawings for utility supports, foundations, equipment installations and other project-related tasks. Work could include building evaluations, structural rehabilitation designs, seismic design, structural analysis and inspections. Must be able to work on multi-discipline teams, lead or execute CAD drafting, perform field walk downs, and must be familiar with building codes and standards.


As a qualified candidate, you will have the above experience and meet the below requirements:

BS in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent with 10+ years of relevant structural engineering experience and TN PE License required or MSCE and 15 or more years of relevant experience preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Functional with MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook software
Possess or have the ability to obtain a "Q" clearance is preferred
Previous experience at DOE facilities
Ability to pass a pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings; ENERCON and client specific background checks; and an annual motor vehicle record (MVR) according to company and client policies
