One of our clients, a major Electric Utility, has a need for several Electrical Maintenance Instructors for a long-term multi-year assignment! This career opportunity offers excellent boating, fishing, hunting and a variety of other recreation activities, perfect for the outdoor enthusiast. This geography offers a low cost-of-living, but is still close to the amenities of a large city with a major airport close by, making for easy travel. This is one of the top performing nuclear plants in the USA!
As an Electrical Maintenance Instructor you will develop and upgrade the Electrical Maintenance Training materials and lesson guides as needed. You will conduct classroom and laboratory instruction to the plant maintenance personnel for both initial training and requalification training. You will manage the classroom and training activities, develop and administer quizzes, exams and student evaluations. You will adhere to the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) and ADDIE process.
The qualified candidate for the Electrical Maintenance Instructor MUST have:
* Current (or very recent) experience conducting Electrical Maintenance Training at a commercial nuclear power plant.
* “Hands-On” maintenance experience in the maintenance shop or in the field.
* Instructor Certification.
* Good interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).
* Excellent references.
* Immediate availability and ability to commit to a long-term multi-year assignment.
