Edgewater is seeking qualified candidates for a PART TIME Information Management IT Operations Support SME opportunity for our customer in Richland, WA to support the Hanford Site. Estimated level of effort is 1,000 hours per fiscal year.

Title of Scope: Information Management IT Operations Support SME

Work Location / Potential Access Requirements: MO-404

OBJECTIVE
Provide an IT Operations Support Specialist to support a number of Information Management telecommunications related facilities across the Hanford site. The subcontractor will furnish an experienced operations expert to assist with the support of Information Management (IM) operations and projects detailed herein.
The Operations Specialist shall have expertise, knowledge and insight into the interworking of the IM facility maintenance, systems operations and equipment handling

QUALIFICATIONS
Required qualifications:
• 3+ years of work experience related to Information Technology (IT) infrastructure and computer systems Understanding needs of various IT Systems, data centers and telephone systems as pertaining to facilities.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and theory.
• Strong understanding of industrial controls.
• Strong understanding of Mechanical related systems and theory.
• Strong understanding of Inside & outside plant Infrastructure Installation.
• Ability to work in a multi-task, multi-project development environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to work in a team-oriented collaborative environment.
• Highly self-motivated and self-directed.
• Strong customer relationship skills.
• Ability to work during non-standard business hours.

Desired qualifications:
• Integrated Safety Management System – ISMS
• Facility Access Control Systems – Proxy, Omni-code…etc.
• 2+ years Telecommunication and Network documentation experience
• Outside Plant experience
• Inside Plant experience
• Logical Network Diagrams
• Strong Telecommunication and Network Background
• Circuit Diagrams
• PAX/PAGE system Diagrams

DESCRIPTION OF WORK – SPECIFIC
Provide support for Contractor’s IT Infrastructure Services Organization, Network and Telecommunications Engineering Group, Network Maintenance and Management. Providing guidance on a number of facility related issues.

Duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:
• Flexibility and Understanding of Industrial controls for various facilities and equipment across a large area with multiple functions and requirements.
• Understand and follow policies and procedures designed to protect employees against workplace hazards.
• Involve subject matter experts in the planning review/approval process
• Auditing and As-built project coordination for all facility related maintenance and management initiatives

Site Access and Work Hours
Hanford personnel at the Hanford Site work a standard 4/10 schedule. The standard work week consist of ten (10) hours of work between 6:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. with one half hour designated as an unpaid period for lunch, Monday through Thursday.
Work performed outside normal operating hours shall be coordinated and/or approved through the BTR and/or the contract Specialist prior to performing the work.
