Essential Duties:

Utilize effective recruiting techniques to source and engage numerous types of qualified talent such as Engineers, Professionals, IT, Trades, Facilities, Safety Professionals, Radiological Control Techs, Project Managers, Schedulers, Scientist and assist the general recruiter with Engineering, Administrative, Operations and Maintenance Technicians.

Maintain accurate and fully compliant documentation on all candidates search and selection processes within the internal Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

Utilize expert level knowledge of search methodologies to build talent pools; use traditional and nontraditional sources to attract candidates to include employee referral program. "Cold Calling" will be an integral component to recruit candidates.

Write policies or procedures to create an effective recruiting process and create brochures for applicants, career fairs, etc.

Work with HR on the recruiting effort

Meet with customers to help define job requirements/skill sets and develop job descriptions for them as required.

Create information for applicant on the interview process and attend customer interview(s) with applicant

Create policies/procedures for Skype interviews or other interview type processes

Create, review, and revise numerous technical and non-technical job descriptions

Update and review any in-house data bases that affect the recruiting process

Update customer(s) on position status/follow-up with customer(s) feedback on resumes submitted

Assist, coordinate, and prepare interview packages

Work with off-site or in house recruiter(s) to assure customer service is effective for the open positions

Stay current with Lab requirements/programs and technical information that relates to the position or program

Interact with customers about possible future needs, so when reviewing resumes, can set aside

Attend and organize Job Fairs

Essential Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

Previous experience recruiting, reviewing and revising highly technical job descriptions such as Mechanical, Structural, Electrical, Optical, Robotics Engineering; other Professionals such as Program Managers, Safety Professionals Project Controls Analyst, Schedulers; such as Gardener, Custodial, Material Coordinator; Technicians such as Electrical, Machine Tool Repair, Engineering Technicians, Power Systems & Maintenance, Cryogenics; Administrative such as Secretary, Administrative Assistant, Clerical

Ability to lead the recruiting effort to resolve issues, define approaches, coordinate efforts, write policies, procedures, reports

Excellent "cold calling" skills to perform screening of qualified candidates/applicants that have NOT applied but should be considered

Ability to work alone, with groups and multi-tasking skills to resolve issues, coordinate efforts for effective recruiting

Excellent self-organizational skills to collect and retain data

Excellent writing and verbal communication skills

Ability to do technical research to understand open positions

Ability to see the "big picture" to grasp the Lab missions and requirements and also to identify recruiting issues with the ability to resolve problems

Previous experience defining search processes/parameters, to perform resume screenings and searches using numerous types of data bases to qualify/disqualify

Ability to work with numerous types' applicants/candidates to identify resume issues and suggest they modify their resume to reflect the position requirements if they have the skills

Ability to write synopsis of applicant(s) addressing their qualifications and other requirements for the position
Desired Skill, Knowledge and Abilities

•Previous experience recruiting high level Technical personnel
•Minimum of 3 years providing the essential skills, knowledge and abilities as a technical lead recruiter
•Previous experience or the ability to quickly learn Word, Outlook, Power Point type software
•Previous experience with Monster, Dice, Career Builder, etc.
•Previous experience managing an Applicant Tracking System.
