Assists in oversight and coordination of planning, funding, design, procurement, implementation and monitoring for major fleet projects at Entergy Nuclear plants.


Manages major project budgets and cash flow forecasts and provides cost reports and analysis.

Ensures project activities such as cost management, schedule management, scope management, risk and issue management, performance management and contract and procurment management are implemented in accordance with regulatory requirements, company policies, processes and procedures.

Facilitates project funding approvals in accordance with company policies, processes and procedures.

Maintain status of site and corporate major project contracts. Proposes process and design changes that provide project cost savings or improve project personnel efficiency

Processes and codes invoices and contracts as appropriate. Maintain Project Management SharePoint site, procedures, templates, and tools.

Assist with project assessments, reporting, and analyses and training.

Minimum education required of the position

B.S. Degree in Engineering or other scientific discipline generally associated with power plant operations, or accounting or equivalent work experience. Equivalent experience is defined as demonstrated success at the Finance Specialist level.

Minimum experience required of the position

5 years of experience in nuclear power design, construction, maintenance, operations, production, finance or equivalent. Experience in an operating nuclear power plant environment is desired.

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position

Technical proficiency in Project Management. Technical understanding of nuclear generation principles and operation. High technical ability with spreadsheets, databases, and other computer software.

Any certificates, licenses, etc. required for the position
Desired: PMP certification is desired
