Cyber Security Project Planner - Coordinator
MSA Cyber Security is responsible for managing the cyber security program at Hanford in accordance with the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) requirements for operation of federal information systems. For a program of this size and complexity, the organization must augment its staff to assist in standing-up and managing a program in all phases of from concept to completion that secures all information systems on the Hanford Site with compliance and effectiveness to cyber security requirements.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK SPECIFIC
The Project Planner/Coordinator will work closely with the Cybersecurity Director, Cybersecurity Managers and the Cybersecurity Project/Program Managers to coordinate the logistics of multiple projects and activities within the Cybersecurity organization. They will work with team members to create project timelines, set goals and determine what elements are needed to complete the project. They will then oversee elements of the project to ensure that it stays on schedule.
The Project Planner/Coordinator will:
Use software to track project progress
Schedule and facilitate meetings, take notes, and produce communications
Create and share relevant documentation and reports with project teams
Provide information and regular support to stakeholders
Serve as a point of contact for various working groups
Understand formal escalation and review processes
Provide other support to project managers and business leaders when requested
Bachelors Degree or equivalent years of experience
4 years professional experience across project coordination/management, general business analyst, business operations, planning, or similar roles
Highly proficient with Microsoft Office programs including Word, PowerPoint and Excel with advanced knowledge of Outlook
Experience taking detailed notes and extracting action items
Ability to understand priorities and adjust meetings and content appropriately
Ability to apply Cyber Security policies and procedures.
Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
Able to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical, evaluative and problem-solving capabilities.
Able to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with keen attention to details.
Excellent customer service skills.
Effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Experience with Hanford site policies and procedures
Experience with cybersecurity technologies, processes, and principles
Experience working inside regulated environments governed by frameworks such as NIST, HIPAA, PCI, or similar.
Experience with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and Office365
Work Location / Potential Access Requirements
The primary work location is 2261 Stevens Drive, Richland Washington in a customer provided office space, cubicle, or on-site at user/group locations. Location is subject to change.
Site Access and Work Hours
Hanford personnel at the Hanford Site work a standard 4/10 schedule. The standard
work week consist of ten (10) hours of work between 6:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. with one-half hour designated as an unpaid period for lunch, Monday through Thursday.
Work performed outside normal operating hours shall be coordinated and/or approved
through the BTR and/or the Contract Specialist prior to performing the work.
