System One is looking for (2) PWR experienced Fuel Handling Supervisors/Engineers for (2) spring 2020 outages from 2/3 to 5/2.
FHS/Shift Engineer will provide technical leadership and front line supervision for the successful execution of complex projects and activities involving PWR reactor maintenance and inspection. They will have technical expertise and experience in PWR reactor disassembly, reassembly, refueling and all forms of in-vessel servicing for PWRs. Individual will perform final verification of fuel movement in the Spent fuel pool during PWR refueling.
Bachelorís Degree in an Engineering discipline or High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 5 years of experience in PWR/BWR maintenance activities and nuclear industry experience is required.
Strong mechanical aptitude and experience preferably performing PWR maintenance activities including: Vessel disassembly, Refueling, Inspections, and Vessel Reassembly. Excellent computer skills and ability to use Microsoft Office Suite software. Ability to manage effectively through high pressure conditions. Well organized. Strong leadership skills. Experience rigging vessel components is desired. Ability to work unsupervised, planning, organizing, and scheduling your activities as well as the activities of others on your job site. At least 3 years of nuclear industry experience in a leadership role. Experience with nuclear fuel handling, specifically PWR. Previous experience at Calvert or other CE design plant preferred. CSB & specimen capsule removal experience a plus.
