Work Management Project Specialist

SUMMARY:
Support for MSA IT Infrastructure Services Organization, Network, and Telecommunications Engineering Group, Network Maintenance and Management as needed or directed by MSA Buyers Technical Rep (BTR).
Typical duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Understand and follow policies and procedures designed to protect employees against workplace hazards.
Schedule day-to-day workload of responsible employees to efficiently complete scheduled IM maintenance activities and priorities.
Validate the maintenance of no planning required service ticket work instructions.
Ensure employees' training and qualifications meet company and organizational requirements.
Involve subject matter experts in the planning review/approval process.
Coordinate field walk-downs to ensure worker involvement.
Knowledgeable with skills-based work determinations.
Ensure that corrective/preventive/predictive maintenance activities are tracked.
Input material orders in support of work management activities.
Understand and follow policies and procedures designed to protect employees against workplace hazards.
Involve subject matter experts in the planning review/approval process
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Experience:
AA/AAS degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
At least 1 year of related experience in Information Technology field or
maintenance work planning/scheduling utilizing an electronic maintenance
management system
Proficient in producing digital copies of documents for electronic record keeping, organizing scanned copies, identifying inconsistencies, and retrieving documents
Excellent customer service skills
Experience working independently and as a group
Strong background of computer/printer parts and system terminology
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite software
Familiar with operation of office machines – computer, fax, scanner, and multi-
band copier.
Desired/Preferred Experience/Skills:
(Preferred) Hold or ability to obtain Hanford Field Work Supervisor (FWS) qualification with a strong background with ISMS (Integrated Safety Management System) core values
(Preferred) Knowledgeable with computer hardware and functions.
(Preferred) Familiar working with 2013 HAMTC Labor Agreement
