The candidate must have experience in Jumper and piping fabrications. Also, must be well versed on NQA-1, ANSI, ASME, and B31.3 codes and regulations. Must be able to read and comprehend prints used in the fabrication of Jumpers, Transfer Jets, and Vessels to critical tolerances.
The candidate must be able to train and mentor less senior jumper mechanics to shop standards on the use of pipe bending equipment and jumper jig set ups.
The candidate will be required to offer advice to engineering and assist the shop planner with the development and the creation of work instructions.
Management will be expecting the candidate to brief them periodically on efficiency gains and progress made on mentoring less senior mechanics and fabricators.
The candidate must have an in-depth knowledge of SRNS site computer systems such as Asset Suites, AHA, DCR, and comprehend project type primavera schedules.

In addition, the position will require the candidate to participate in all site safety programs to include the Behavior Based Safety Program.
Attend all classroom training as deemed necessary by management and conduct on the job mentoring sessions if requested.


An Associate's degree and 6-8 years of practical experience would substitute for the higher degree requirement.
A high school diploma and 15- 20 additional years of practical experience would also be considered equivalent.

Experience /Skills:
Qualified candidate must have vast experience in Jumper and Piping Systems fabrication. Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Possess strong organizational skills and able to perform duties with little direction as well as strong interpersonal skills and work fluidly in a team environment.
Ten years Jumper fabrication is required.

Work Hours:
A 40-hour work week is scheduled. SRNS utilizes various work schedules; 4/l0s (10 hours/day; four days per week).
Work week excludes SRNS holidays. Each workday has a 30-minute lunch.

Area Security Access:
A security clearance is not initially required; however, candidate must be capable of obtaining an L or Q clearance if required to perform assigned duties.
