Subcontract Liaison/Administrator will be responsible for providing daily oversight of all subcontract employees and meeting regularly and as requested with the customer. This overall administrative effort must be a professional with contracting and human resources experience in a DOE environment. This is a working administrative role where the oversight lead can define daily contract objectives, scoping execution paths, and communicating to the internal/external contracting teams, as well as senior and executive management teams.


Subcontract Liaison/Administrator will provide support for scope execution, to include overall responsibility and authority for successfully accomplishing the objectives of the assigned project. Provide project oversight and contract support primarily for meeting quarterly and as requested with the customer. Provide support to the contract management team through the execution of various general administrative functions including human resources management, ensures compliance with contract, validating and signing time records, informal coaching, formal evaluations and providing counseling when needed, taking necessary actions when requested, risk management services, performance monitoring, and other related tasks as authorized by the Project Manager. Perform human resources functions, time keeping review and approval, office management, and communicating with the subcontract employees, project manager and the customer. Subcontract Liaison/Administrator will be involved in the review, quality check and resolution of all human resources requirements and selected contracting issues.

•3 – 5 years contract or related experience in a DOE environment
•Efficient in Microsoft Office Suites
•Procurement/Contract Management
•General Office Administration
•1-year in a Supervisory Role
•Deltek Timekeeping Management or Equivalent


•Provide General Office Administration
•DOE Contracting Experience
•Provide Human Resources Management
•Ability to properly identify staffing and other resource requirements to accomplish project tasks
•People management while promoting process improvement throughout project
•Dealing with complex situations and determining most efficient/effective path forward
•Performance management
•Excellent written and oral communication skills
•Ability to both lead and function as a member of a team
•Attention to detail and organizational skills
•Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure

Prefer a local candidate in the Carlsbad/Hobbs, NM area possessing an Associates Degree in Human Resources/Management or related field

Must be a U.S. Citizens and have the ability to obtain a clearance by passing a background investigation and drug test.
