GEM Technologies, Inc. (GEM) is seeking a Sr. Level Project Manager to impact and contribute to the success of federal projects near Idaho Falls, ID.
Project duration is expected to last between 3-6 months.
Position will leverage experience related to project management, facility infrastructure (including nuclear), engineering, and maintenance for federal projects.
Provides project management support and oversight necessary to safely, compliantly and cost effectively execute key infrastructure and maintenance projects.
Coordinate labor in a matrixed organization, plan activities, and track project costs as necessary to satisfy project execution plan activities.
Maintain and implement applicable Safety program per hiring organizations procedures and processes.
Coordinate project and maintenance work, materials, and required job start approvals for employees.
Establish project milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules.
Responsible for the assignment of resources to meet customer and client requirements.
Provide required daily, weekly, and monthly status updates to management.
Attend project meetings pertaining to site construction activities
Assist site engineering with planning activities.
Other duties as assigned.
Bachelorís Degree, or equivalent and proven project management experience, and at least 10+ years of relevant project management experience supporting federal funded projects.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
Candidate must be a US citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (L or Q).
Experience in Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) and working understanding of scheduling software such as Primavera (P6).
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the concepts and principles related to Integrated Work Management (IWM), Integrated Safety Management (ISM) and Integrated Safeguards and Security Management (ISSM).
