Intermediate Project Specialist

Intermediate Project Specialist to support the Production Operations organization.
Description of Work-Specific
The subcontractor shall perform specialized technical duties in support of scheduled tasks in order to achieve successful completion of project goals and deliverables. The duties related to the job position also to include:
• Assists in the planning, preparation, control, and implementations of organizational or program objectives.
• Assists with the development and implementation of projects, programs, and/or processes specific to the operating unit served.
• Reviews existing administrative procedures and practices and recommends changes where appropriate to improve effectiveness.
• Interprets policies for application to work scope.
• Assembles and interprets comprehensive data relating to performance measures as compared to objectives.
• Develops presentations or other types of documentation and reports.
• Plans and carries out specialized assignments as requested.
• Maintains sensitivity of confidential business or personal sensitive information.
• Maintain training and medical appointment calendar for staff personnel and craft.
• Responsible to develop Required Reading requests and interface with Required Reading point of contact.
• Maintain and update Operations Tracking Reminder database.
• Develop purchase requisitions for general use of equipment and materials.
• Responsible to act as Key Custodian and primary interface with physical security personnel.

Required Qualifications/Skills

• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Business or General Studies and 5 years of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience in a project specialist capacity. Demonstrated knowledge of planning, expediting, organizing and implementing project activities.
• Must have intermediate level of knowledge in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Power Point, and Excel.

Desired Qualifications/Skills

• Ability to quickly identify, analyze and plan resolution of emerging issues/challenges.
• Ability to appropriately handle business sensitive information from various departments.

The subcontractor employee shall be required to complete HGET and TOC HGET Training in order to complete work for WRPS. The subcontractor employee shall also be required to take TFCLTR Fundamentals as a staff augmentation resource for recording billable hours.
Work Location/Potential Access
The work location/potential access area will be on the Hanford Site at 2025E facility in the 200 East Area. Access to other WRPS controlled facilities will also be required.

Site Access/Work Hours
Hanford personnel at the Hanford Site work a standard 4/10 schedule. The standard work week consist of ten (10) hours of work between 6:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. with one-half hour designated as an unpaid period for lunch, Monday through Thursday.
Work performed outside normal operating hours shall be coordinated and approved by the Level One Manager prior to performing the work. Billable hours shall be recorded in TFCLTR.
