Job Title: ITAAC Project Manager

Job Location: Plant Vogtle 3&4, Waynesboro, GA

• Describe the work environment for this assignment (e.g., office setting, construction site, field work, exposure to heat/cold, etc.) Combination of office setting and field work.

Desired Qualifications: The successful candidate will be responsible for assuring the documentation associated with construction work activities, engineering analyses, and testing provide objective evidence to meet the design commitment and acceptance criteria for the inspections, tests, and analyses requirements listed in the Vogtle 3&4 Combined Operating License. This position requires technical expertise, nuclear regulatory acumen, and project management skills. This position supports completion of the electrical and I&C Inspections, Tests, Analyses and Acceptance Criteria (ITAAC) associated with Plant Vogtle Units 3&4.
• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering major is required, Electrical Engineering degree is preferred
• Minimum five (5) years combined experience in one or multiple of the following:
Plant Modifications, Engineering Design, Regulatory Affairs, Simulator/HFE, System Engineering, Construction Engineering

Preferred Attributes:
• Previous experience working with Class 1E plant electrical system construction
• Class 1E Cable/Raceway installation and design experience
• System walkdown experience.
• Ability to interpret electrical and I&C design drawings
• Previous construction field work package review desired
• Knowledge of NRC and Industry codes and standards for Class 1E electrical systems
• Ability to interface with NRC
• Ability to prepare detailed technical reports using electronic media
• Proven ability to succeed while working on cross-functional project teams
• Strong oral skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with tight deadlines
• Ability to achieve issue resolution among diverse organizations
• 10 CFR 52 Licensing/ITAAC experience and/or familiarity with AP 1000 plant
• Will work approximately 15% field work and 85% office
• Project Management Certification (PMP) or Professional Engineering License a plus


Does this assignment have any physical requirements (e.g., lifting, climbing, prolonged walking, ladder climbing, uneven surfaces, etc.)? Yes, ladder climbing to access scaffolds, walking on uneven surfaces, performing inspections at elevated heights, performing inspections in confined spaces, extended work hours.

Does this position require unescorted access to the protected area of a nuclear plant? Yes
