Technical Support
Grades I and II

TECHNICAL SUPPORT SERVICES

Includes, but not limited to 1) engineering support, 2) modeling & simulation, 3) risk and
threat assessment, 4) regulation review, 5) analysis of complex data and systems, 6)
nuclear and radiation physics testing and analysis, 7) performance testing and evaluation,
8) failure analysis, 9) life cycle equipment analysis, 10) equipment assembly, 11)
equipment troubleshooting and maintenance, 12) document preparation for complex systems,
13) support for response capacity building activities (nuclear forensics, crime scene
management, reach-back, response), and 14) design and approaches for radiation detection
systems and operational use cases for airport, maritime, green border, interior law
enforcement, and other environments.

TECHNICAL SUPPORT I

GENERAL EXPERIENCE

5 to 10 years of experience applying skills or technical knowledge on defined tasks

EDUCATION

Associate Degree or higher

TECHNICAL SUPPORT II

GENERAL EXPERIENCE

10 or more years of experience applying skills or technical knowledge on defined tasks.

EDUCATION

Associate Degree or higher
