IT Specialist IV (Entry Level Cyber Security)

Pay Range: $30-$51/hr

TFE is seeking an IT Specialist VI (Entry Level Cyber Security) to provide support for one of our clients.
1.Experience using an incident management system,
2.Knowledge in hardware support and networking concepts.
3.Knowledge of basic technical architecture and its relative application.
4.Familiarity in a command line environment
5.Familiarity with NIST and FISMA compliance
6.Basic understanding of firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, anti-malware products, forensics tools, data encryption, vulnerability scanners and directory services
7.Good written and verbal communication skills
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/JOB DUTIES:
1.Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or other relevant discipline and 8+ years of experience in IT; or Associate's degree or technical diploma/degree in Information Technology and 12+ years of relevant experience in IT; or 16+ years of Enterprise level IT experience in an administration, support and/or oversight capacity.
2.1-2 years' experience in the Enterprise Security space
3.Ability to create and maintain OS environments of various types
4.Able to analyze, think logically and act decisively in critical situations
5.CEH. Security+ are desired certifications
6.Experience with any of the tools listed Kali, Linux, Metasploit, Burp Suite, Cobalt Strike, Nessus, Ivanti, and Shavlik
7.Experience with Splunk
8.Experience reviewing and analyzing log data
9.Research and remain up to date with emerging threats
10.Able to automate tasks and script at a basic level
11.Provide subject matter expertise support in the detection, analysis, and mitigation of malware
12.Stay up-to-date in current tools techniques and vulnerabilities to incorporate into security testing practices
13.Must be proactive self-motivated and able to work well under pressure
14.Works under minimal supervision.
15.Has system-wide responsibility on projects with increasing complexity and components.
16.Provides direction for projects.
17.Solves medium to highly technical problems on multiple projects and provides consultative support to internal staff.
18.Assists with the transfer of knowledge of technical skills.
19.May act as a mentor to less senior IT staff.
20.May provide direction and training to team members on information systems in areas including application support, software engineering, software quality assurance and quality control, business analysis or database administration.
21.Analyzes, diagnoses, designs, plans, executes and evaluates work to time, cost and quality targets, exhibiting thorough familiarity with available methods, procedures, tools, equipment and standards associated with own area of specialization within information systems.
22.Performs work that requires the application of a significant range of fundamental information systems principles in a variety of contexts while demonstrating strong leadership.
23.May be required to be in an on-call status to be able to promptly respond to and address user/customer needs
