GEM Technologies, Inc. (GEM) is seeking a Sr. Radiological Instructor / Trainer to join our team, working near Idaho Falls, ID. The ideal candidate will have prior training experience supporting federal facilities within the radiological protection field to ensure training programs are most effective to site wide personnel. Additional experience related to Conduct of Operations, the Systematic Approach to Training, the Integrated Safety Management System, and the ADDIE method is preferred.
Provide instruction for radiological support training.
Review and update course material on a regular basis to ensure personnel are receiving the most current information.
Conducts training analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of training programs (ADDIE).
Ensure personnel are properly trained and qualified to perform their assigned tasks.
Manage and track training case files.
Utilize Andragogical / adult learning theory and practices in classroom settings.
Communicate with management and/or subject matter experts to identify training needs and take corrective action, as necessary.
Must be a U.S. Citizen and be eligible to obtain/maintain a federal security clearance.
Bachelorís degree in Training or a related field is preferred.
Five (5) or more years or relevant experience in training.
Familiar with DOE O 462.2
Familiar with systematic approach to training through Basic Instructor Training (BIT) or equivalent.
Experience with DOE, state, and federal regulations regarding training activities.
