TFE, Inc. is currently seeking candidates for the following position:

Program Manager

Location: Lee’s Summit, MO
Pay Range: Salary will be commensurate with experience.
Per Diem: No
Duration: Position starts October 2020. Full-time.

SUMMARY:
TFE is seeking a Program Manager to join our team. The Contractor Program Manager (CPM) shall be present at the customer site for in-person meetings with Government personnel. The CPM shall be a single point of contact for the Contracting Officer and the Contracting Officer Representative (COR).

JOB KNOWLEDGE:
1.The CPM shall have demonstrated experience in preparing complex statistical and analytical reports.
2.This position requires extensive analytical ability to develop complex statistical analysis, cost estimates, and analytical reports.
3.The CPM shall have excellent interpersonal communication and organizing skills to coordinate project activities with contractor and Government representatives, conduct fact finding for special projects and respond timely to Government inquiries, and present oral briefings to customer management officials.
4.The CPM shall have excellent writing skills to prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and revisions.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/JOB DUTIES:
1.The CPM shall have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in one of the following disciplines: program management, business or public administration, technical management, information systems, engineering, finance, accounting, or related fields.
2.A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is desired. Customer will allow a Project Management Professional certified by the Project Management Institute (PMI) in lieu of the educational requirements. PMP certification number and date shall be provided.
3.At a minimum, the CPM shall have six (6) years of overall project management experience. At least three (3) years of the overall project management experience shall be in the Government contracts environment.
4.The CPM shall be proactive in informing the Government of significant issues, and be able to respond and take corrective action to issues brought by the CPM or COR.
5.The CPM shall be proactive in identifying and recommending new approaches to improve quality, cost, and process efficiencies.
