Edgewater is seeking qualified candidates for a Field Radiological Protection Manager opportunity for our customer in Oak Ridge, TN. Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE “Q” clearance.
UCOR works a standard 4/10 schedule, Monday through Thursday unless otherwise specified by Management.
Job-Related Education and Qualifications Required
Bachelor’s degree in ES&H discipline or related science/engineering area, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: This is a management level position requiring a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years of experience directly involving leadership such as supervisor, manager, or lead role. ABHP certification is desirable. NRRPT registration and/or prior RPT experience is advantageous.
Demonstrated proficiency in supervision and oversight of the ESH function area in a project work environment
Technical and field knowledge in assigned areas of responsibility, as well as a general knowledge in IH, occupational safety, radiological protection, environment compliance and protection.
Working knowledge and practical application of governmental ESH standards, procedures, rules, and regulations within area of responsibility.
Working knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations and reporting requirements.
Knowledge and understanding of ISMS, EMS, as defined in PPD-EH-1400
Experience in conducting audits and assessments of projects and facilities
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Additional Preference to be considered: Individual with access to training on the creation of waste profiles for the disposition of waste at the EMWMF would be ideal.
