procurement requisition technical and quality evaluations; Assist with procurement process from point of acquisition initiation to end user delivery; Interpreting and applying Documented Safety Analysis (DSA) references; Determining and confirming equipment/component safety function; Identifying equipment/component performance requirements; Confirming functional classification and service conditions; Determine and document replacement item Like-for-Like or Equivalency; Perform Failure Mode, Failure Mechanism and Effect Analysis (FMEA); Identify and document component Technical Requirements, Critical Characteristics (CCs) and Acceptance Requirements; Identify dedication method(s) for verification of acceptance criteria; Perform CGD and Procurement document review, comment, comment resolution and approval process; Provide peer and junior CGD engineer mentoring, feedback and development; Conduct CGD peer reviews providing confirmation of quality, validating attention to detail, verifying requirement and procedure compliance, and meeting management defined expectations.

Engineering services shall be provided using SRNS processes and procedures. Programmatic guidance will be provided by SRNS.

Work Hours: 40-hour work week ending Sunday of each week, initial work schedule is Shift 32 - 4/10s (10 hours/day, four days each week of Monday through Thursday). Alternate work schedules may be implemented; SRNS utilizes various work schedules: 5/8s (8 hours/day; five days per week, Monday through Friday); Shift 33 - 4/10s (10 hours/day, four days each week Tuesday through Friday); 9/80s (9 hours/day, 5 days on week A and 4 days on week B). Work week excludes SRNS Holidays. Each work day has a 30- minute unpaid lunch break. Extended work hours and workdays are to be expected with this assignment.

Education
BS Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Civil or Nuclear Engineering and five (5) years DOE, DOD or NRC nuclear CGD and Procurement experience.
Will consider HS Diploma and ten (10) years DOE, DOD or NRC nuclear Procurement and CGD experience as an equivalent to the education requirements.

Experience/Skills
Previous SRS experience.
Experience with File Maker Pro, Intergraph Smart Plant Foundation (SPF), Asset Suite, Outlook.
Demonstrate five (5) or ten (10) years DOE, DOD or NRC nuclear Procurement and CGD experience commensurate with education criteria.
Demonstrate the ability to Qualify as an Electrical/Mechanical Procurement Engineer and Commercial Grade Dedication (CGD) Subject Matter Expert (SME).
Demonstrate ability to produce high quality, technically accurate and thorough CGD packages and conduct CGD technical evaluations, peer reviews, package approvals and meeting management defined expectations.
Demonstrate ability to perform Level 1 and 2 procurement requisition technical and quality evaluations and assist with procurement process from point of acquisition initiation to end user delivery.
Demonstrate ability to identify equipment/component performance requirements and conduct Failure Mode, Failure Mechanism and Effect Analysis (FMEA).
Demonstrate ability to interpret and apply Documented Safety Analysis (DSA) references; determine and confirm equipment/component safety function and confirm functional classification and service conditions.
Demonstrate ability to identify and document equipment/component technical requirements, critical characteristics, acceptance requirements, determine Like for Like or Equivalency, and identify dedication method(s) for verification of acceptance criteria.
Demonstrate the ability to conduct CGD peer reviews providing confirmation of quality, validating attention to detail, verifying requirement and procedure compliance, and meeting management defined expectations
Demonstrate proficiency, experience and knowledge with: Equipment and component testing; Performance data (environmental and seismic) evaluations; Standards and lab listings data collection.
Demonstrate proficiency, experience and knowledge with: NQA-1 2008/ 1a 2009 CGD requirements; 10CFR830; DOE, DOD and/or NRC Procurement and CGD requirements and guidelines; Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) guides.
Demonstrate proficiency, experience and knowledge with procurement acquisition processes.
Demonstrate the ability to effectively work in partnership with peers, Design Authority Engineers, Facility Engineering, Procurement, Quality Assurance and Test organizations.
Demonstrate ability to communicate clear, concise and accurate reports, evaluations, documents, procedures, reviews, comment resolutions, email and oral presentations.

Demonstrate the ability to coordinate, interface and communicate with management, engineering, facility, operations, quality assurance and test personnel.
Demonstrate ability to perform field walk-downs to confirm equipment/component installation.
Demonstrate experience with computers and software: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
Confirm ability to work extended work hours and workdays beyond assigned work shift.
Confirm ability to obtain and maintain a DOE L security clearance
