Work within the Soil and Groundwater Remediation Project, Remedy Selection and Environmental Compliance (RS&EC).
Authoring, reviewing and performing document related tasks on large remedy decision documents within the CERLA program, writing and reviewing RCRA groundwater monitoring plans, and preparing/supporting AEA sampling plans and dose calculation.
Reporting groundwater and soils data.
Cooperatively working with CPRC, DOE, Ecology and EPA staff in meetings and workshops.
Working within a structured teams environment in the RS&EC group on special and routine tasks for completing the baseline scope, requests by the local customer, headquarters and the local regulators.
B.S in Geosciences, or Geological Engineering and 2 years of related Hanford Site experience.
M.S in Geosciences, or Geological Engineering and 4 years of related overall professional experience
Experience with maintaining, querying, and updating databases, excellent written and oral communication skills, GIS experience, conducting statistical analyses/testing and developing related software that can and has been used on the Hanford site.
Report writing, borehole selection, permeability testing, hydrologic test analyses, and rock core characterization.
Data Management, scripting and coding, Machine Learning, Systems Modeling, Field Hydrogeology, and Spatial Analysis are all required.
