QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER

OBJECTIVE
Quality Assurance Engineer to augment staff for assessments (internal and vendor) as well as other Quality Assurance duties as assigned.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK-SPECIFIC
Participate in Quality Assurance assessments (both internal and external) as both a team member or as a lead assessor as assigned. Review procurement documents and vendor submittals. Other Quality Assurance Engineering duties as assigned.

PERSONNEL QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications/Skills
B.S. in Engineering or Science
10 or more years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer
NQA-1 Lead Auditor Training or Audit experience

Desired Qualifications/Skills
Tank Farms experience
Experience reviewing procurement documents and subcontractor submittals

Work Location/Potential Access
Primary work location will be at 2505 Garlick in Richland, or teleworking as required. Hanford Site access as needed.

Site Access/Work Hours
Hanford personnel at the Hanford Site work a standard 4/10 schedule. The standard work week consist of ten (10) hours of work between 6:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. with one-half hour designated as an unpaid period for lunch, Monday through Thursday. For work supporting the 222-S lab, the standard operating work week for the lab is modified slightly to a ten hour period of 6:30 a.m. through 5:00 p.m.
