TFE, Inc. is currently seeking candidates for the following position:

Engineer / Engineering Specialist (Electrical)

THIS POSITION WILL CLOSE Monday, October 26th, 2020.

Location: UCOR – Oak Ridge, TN
Pay Range: $40-$97/hr
Per Diem: No
Duration: Full-time
Clearance: Must possess a Q Clearance or have the ability to obtain one.

SUMMARY:
TFE is seeking an Engineer / Engineering Specialist (Electrical) to provide support for one of our clients.

JOB KNOWLEDGE:
1.Functional with MS Word, Excel and Outlook software.
2.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
3.Technical knowledge of related engineering systems, engineering calculations, applications of engineering and construction methods and materials, and engineering application of computers.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/JOB DUTIES:
1.Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience (equivalent experience defined as demonstrated success at the engineer level).
2.Possess or have ability to obtain a "Q" clearance.
3.7+ years’ experience in electrical systems design, installation, troubleshooting, and repairs/renovations with 13.8KV, 440V, 220-208V, and 110V power distribution systems.
4.Ability to anticipate change and adjust promptly and effectively.
5.Proven ability to manage multiple work scopes between self-performed work and subcontracted work.
6.Previous experience at DOE facilities a plus.
7.Familiarity with and experience in implementation of NFPA 70 National Electric Code.
8.Experience in preparing and reviewing detailed calculations, reports and studies that present technical information in a clear and concise manner.
9.Experience in providing technical oversight and direction of work performed by electricians.
10.Experience in providing support to the preparation and implementation of work packages for modifications, repairs, or upgrades to electrical systems.
11.Experience in development of engineering change documentation for changes to existing electrical systems.
12.Experience with outdoor lighting design for industrial facilities.
13.Experience specifying or procuring electrical equipment items that are listed, labeled or recognized by a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory.
