Edgewater is seeking qualified candidates for a Human Resources Specialist (343493) opportunity for our customer in Richland, WA to support the Hanford Site.

Our Human Resources (HR) Staffing and Development team is seeking a dynamic HR Specialist in Development who will collaborate with employees, management and stakeholders using analytical skills in identifying and assessing talent development needs. The HR Specialist - Development will create, facilitate, assess, and document talent and career development solutions. This role requires the individual to build strong connections and trusting relationships with current employees at all levels.

A day in the life of an HR Specialist focusing on development involves:
• Designing and maintaining the implementation of the talent management programs that aim to measure, develop and manage an organization's talent pool. This includes leadership development, organizational design, succession planning, and employee engagement.
• Implementing and refining the succession planning process for the organization to ensure long-term development and retention of future leaders and personnel to replace critical positions.
• Collaborating and implementing learning and development programs for leaders and managers that align with objectives and goals of the senior leadership team.
• Creating and implementing a framework for assessing and tracking learning and development programming and demonstrating return to the organization.
• Providing senior leadership with ongoing reporting and analysis of developmental activities.
• Delivering professional quality presentations and training materials to include classroom training, workbooks, job aids, quick reference guides, and videos.

Main areas of expertise include:
• Training, coaching, facilitation, employee engagement, change management and driving results.
• Understanding and complying with Company policies and procedures, safety responsibilities, Conduct of Operations, procedure compliance expectations, Standards of Conduct guidelines, training requirements, and instructions.
• Performing work in a safe, compliant, and cost-effective manner.

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience, plus 5 years of related experience.
• 2 years of Talent Development, Leadership Training, and/or Human Resource related experience.
• Excellent ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing on all levels.
• Demonstrated experience in making decisions and recommendations on issues.
• Ability to appropriately maintain high levels of confidentiality.
