Edgewater is seeking qualified candidates for an ETF Project Specialist opportunity for our customer in Richland, WA to support the Hanford Site Tank Farms.
TITLE: ETF PROJECT SPECIALIST
Close Date: 11/19/2020
Work Location/Potential Access Requirements: Office will be located in the 2704HV facility in the 200E Area. Access to other WRPS facilities to include 2025EA and 2505 Garlick Avenue, Richland. Potential RBA access at ETF area, escorted only.
To provide Project Specialist to support the Environmental Treatment Facility (ETF) organization. Staff augmentation support to supplement Washington River Protection Solutions (WRPS) staff during the term specified. The individual will perform work in accordance with WRPS controls, processes, and procedures.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK SPECIFIC
In support of multiple ETF projects and multiple project managers, Project Specialist to perform various tasks such as:
Tracking action items from schedule status meeting
Support critical meeting minutes and distribution of same
Smart Plant Foundation (SPF) and Procurement item tracking
Arranging contractor site access
Generating and maintaining weekly reports, such as construction Material Status Report (MSR)/Master Submittal List (MSL) submittal tracking report, Request for Information (RFI) response tracking reports, and tracking Problem Evaluation Request (PER), etc
Ability to track design documents
Project labor charges by name and organization for report generation
Verifying design media revision in the field
Candidate should have a 4-year degree in Business Administration, or Engineering field. Consideration will be granted in lieu of degree and will be evaluated with a minimum 8 years experience or combination of Education and Experience.
Ability to access ETF radiological zones, i.e. radiological buffer area (RBA) on a visitor/escorted basis;
Microsoft Office Computer skills, especially spreadsheet development; Ability to learn accessing, manipulating and working within company supplied database, i.e. SPF.
Experience working within projects structure, e.g. working to meet critical schedules and can work under pressure
Familiarity with schedules
Ability to read and have a basic understanding of drawings/design documents
Experience working multiple simultaneous projects
Communication skills in the areas of verbal, text, email, report writing
Willingness to learn new software programs
Site Access and Work Hours
Hanford personnel at the Hanford Site work a standard 4/10 schedule. The standard work week consist of ten (10) hours of work between 6:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. with one-half hour designated as an unpaid period for lunch, Monday through Thursday.
Work performed outside normal operating hours shall be coordinated and approved in accordance to procedure TFC-BSM-CP_CPR-C-12.
