Electrical Installation Coordinator
The Electrical Installation Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating with technical equipment system owners, coordinating with craft, and overseeing the installation of the client's electrical infrastructure.
Edit and develop new and existing client infrastructure drawing packages required for installation. Including:
Master Cable Database to include the following details:
TO: and FROM:
Cable Tray routing for cable installation
Termination device and testing parameters as needed
Technical racks and equipment layout
Chase drawings to show specific cable routes
Terminal Block Diagrams showing transition to Cryomodules Electrical Termination drawings for all equipment installation. Including:
Klystron, Circulators, Radio Frequency Controls (RFC) and Transmitter (TR) interconnections
High Voltage Converter Modulator (HVCM) Control Rack, Silicone Controlled Rectifier (SCR) and HVCM housing interconnections
Cryomodule, Vacuum, Beam Diagnostic and Marshalling Panel interconnections.
Support panel shop personnel with questions during the assembly phase of control rack and or enclosure panels.
Provide updates of design changes in the assemble phase to panel shop personnel to keep projects on schedule.
Provide Document Change Notification (DCN) support by creating drawing modifications or generation of new documentation.
As a member of the Installation Team, work with System Engineering experts to finalize installation plan.
Ensure a safe and efficient work environment and compliance with ESH&Q procedures and programs.
Maintain a strong commitment to the implementation and perpetuation of professional values and ethics. Protect information integrity and maintain appropriate confidentiality on control system computers.
Qualifications / Experience Required:
Associates degree in Electrical or Electronics Technologies and at least5-7 years of technical equipment installation.
Demonstrated ability to translate wiring list or other forms of documentation into design drawings.
Experience utilizing AutoCAD tools to create design documentation
The candidate must be able to develop relationships with System experts to understand customer requirements and translate these requirements into best-fit design solutions. The candidate must work independently with minimum supervision from managers and/or peers. Good written and verbal communication skills are a must with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with teams of scientists, engineers, and technicians.
Experience working directly with multi-disciplinary (electrical, mechanical, etc.) craft in a fast-paced and complex construction environment
Qualifications / Experience Desired:
Experience at a neutron user facility, synchrotron light source or other large-scale experimental physics project or user facility is highly preferred.
Demonstrated proficiency with AutoCAD to create detailed technical installation diagram.
The ability to utilize Microsoft Excel spreadsheets to convert a detailed wiring list into I/O drawings
The ability to create as-built drawings on a variety of technical systems
Have a good understanding of drawing revision / release control processes and be discipline in maintaining documentation in a central repository.
