We have a need for a Piping Engineer. Duration is six months with possible direct with client after that time. This position will offer possible remote work.
BS degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
Have a minimum of 8 years of commercial nuclear power experience in piping analyses, pipe supports, and degraded piping evaluations.
Demonstrates strong effective written and verbal communication skills with colleagues, clients, project managers and management
Working proficiency with pipe stress software, specifically ME101 and AutoPIPE.
Additional job-related competencies, characteristics, knowledge, skills, and abilities required:
US Citizen, or permanent resident is required.
Ability to pass background check and FFD screening
Strong problem-solving skills
EIT completion or PE license is a plus
Candidate would have experience with one or more of the following items:
1. American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Boiler and Pressure Vessel (BPV) Code
2. ASME B31.1, Power Piping, ASME Code for Operation and Maintenance of Nuclear Power Plants (OM Code) pursuant to 10CFR50.55a, "Codes and Standards."
3. Regulatory Guide 1.84, "Design, Fabrication, and Materials Code Case Acceptability, ASME Section III
