Edgewater is seeking qualified candidates for a Communications Engineer (Fire Alarm & Detection Engineer) opportunity for our customer in Greenville, SC to support a DOE Construction Design Project
Provide technical direction, guidance and demonstrated expertise in the development
and implementation of the Fire Detection and Alarm System designs.
Develop and implement effective fire detection designs for compliance with fire codes,
standards, and regulations.
Apply working knowledge of National Fire Protection Association Codes, IBC, ISA, and
IEEE regulatory requirements to site facilities.
BS degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
10 years of cumulative relevant experience.
Experience with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), IBC, ISA, and IEEE codes and standards.
Experience with AutoCAD, MicroStation or Revit.
The ideal candidate will also possess a NICET Level III (or higher) certification in Fire Alarm
